Jordan P. Shuber, an associate attorney at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky, practices primarily in the firm’s litigation group. Clients and colleagues note that Jordan has a tremendous courtroom presence, is a great listener who carefully weighs his words before speaking and is someone who intensely wants to help people. He is described as “tireless”, “compassionate” “effective” and “extremely hard-working.”
Jordan began his legal career very early, accepting a position as a litigation paralegal with a nationally renowned Amlaw 100 law firm in Philadelphia immediately after graduating college. After working for a number of years, he then moved closer to his hometown of Butler to attend Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, Jordan had an internship with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office successfully arguing various pre-trial motions on behalf of the Commonwealth. He also received the CALI Award honoring him for the highest grade in Trial Advocacy. Jordan finished his last year of law school clerking for a local firm assisting with a number of litigation, personal injury, and criminal matters.
Jordan was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2014. Since his admission, he has actively been involved in the courtroom in both civil and family division as well as successfully advocating numerous results for his criminal clients.
Jordan volunteers in the Pittsburgh area through his church, Northway Christian Community, and as a mentor through Family Guidance.
