SMGG Of Counsel, Ilene Fingeret, was presented with the Eric W. Springer Professionalism Award for 2017 at a meeting of the W. Edward Sell American Inn of Court in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 16th. The award was named in honor of Eric W. Springer, who in 2006 was the Sell Inn’s first recipient of the American Inns of Court Professionalism Award for the Third Circuit. Ilene, a Master of the Bench and one of the Sell Inn’s founding members, was recognized not only for serving as the Inn’s social chair for many years, but also for her recognized compassion and esteemed competency in the practice of estate law. The award honors a member of the Sell Inn whose life and practice display sterling character, unquestioned integrity, and an ongoing dedication to the highest standards of the legal profession and the rule of law.
